Toltracox

• PRESENTATION

Toltrazuril is the highly effective anticoccidial against the schizogony & gametogony stages and predominantly Coccidiostatic against developing sporozoites.
Toltrazuril produces its anticoccidial effect by inducing changes in the fine structure of the coccidian development stage that remain due to a swelling in the endoplasmic reticulum of the Golgi apparatus and to Abnormalities in the Peri – nuclear space & disturbances in nuclear division .

• INDICATIONS

For chickens : – in treatment of coccidiosis in chickens due to infections with Eimeria Acervulina , E. brunettei , E. maxima , E. necatrix , E. tenella and E . emitis .
For turkeys : due to infections with E. adinoides , E. meleagritis .

• COMPOSITION

Each 100 ml contains :
Toltrazuril ………………………………………………. 2.5 gm

• DOSAGE & ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION

FOR ACTIVE INGREDIENT
7 mg / kg b. wt. in drinking water/day for 2 successive days.
For whole product :
3 ml toltracox/ lit. drinking water for 8 hours per day for 2 successive days. 1 ml Toltracox/liter in drinking water for 48 hours.

• SIDE EFFECT

Non in the recommended doses but in large prolonged dose may induce GIT distress and skin rashes

• CONTRA –INDICATION

Not to be used in chickens producing Eggs for Human Consumption
