Combivac
” IB+NDV B1″
Freeze dried live attenuated Newcastle Disease Virus +
Infectious Bronchitis Virus Vaccine
Newcastle disease is caused by a paramyxovirus. After infection birds begin to show signs of disease as hemorrhage and inflammation of respiratory and intestinal tract.
Infectious bronchitis is caused by coronavirus. Infection causes respiratory pneumonia kidneys infection as well as respiratory tract infection. Combination of both vaccines is efficient due to competing for respiratory receptors sites between vaccine strains and the virus that will moderate the reactions. IB vaccination may be difficult to control if this vaccine is given alone as field boost, the reaction can be moderated by giving the IB vaccine in combination with ND vaccine.
