Apracure

PRESENTATION

Apracure: contains Apramycin which is a broad-spectrum aminocyclitol antibiotic produced by a strain of Streptomyces tenebrarius. Apracure is bactericidal at minimum inhibitory concentrations. Apracure is effective against both Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria and some strains of mycoplasma at concentrations of 16 ug/ml or less. It is effective against most field strains of Escherichia coli and salmonellae.

 

INDICATIONS

-Apracure is indicated for the treatment of bacterial enteritis associated with organisms susceptible to apramycin in pigs. -colibacillosis and salmonellosis in claves Escherichia coil septicaemia in young chickens.

 

COMPOSITION

Each 84 gm contains:
Apramycin 50gm

DOSAGE & ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION

Route of administration: orally via drinking water
For whole product :
claves: 3.3-6.7 gm Apracure per 100 kg of body weight,in the drinking water,milk or milk replacer for 5 days.

CONTRA –INDICATION

Do not use in cases of known hypersensitivity to apramycin.
Do not use in cats.

 WITHDRAWAL PERIOD

pigs: Meat: 14 days
claves :Meat:28 days chickens: Meat 7 days Do not use in laying chickens when eggs are intended for human consumption.

TARGET SPECIES

Apracure: is indicated for use in claves, pigs and chicken.

SIDE EFFECTS

No side effects when used with the recommended doses.

 STORAGE

Stored at temperature not exceed 30 C˚.

The medicated water should be used as a sole source of drinking

the medicated water should be consumed within 24 hours.
