Tylosol 20% is an oral solution containing Tylosin, which is belonged to the macrolide antibiotics. Tylosin act mainly on gram positive bacteria and mycoplasma, Tylosin Produce its bacteriostatic action by inhibition of protein synthesis through binding to the 50s ribosomal subunit.
Tylosin is rapidly absorbed after oral administration and reach its maximum concentration in the blood after 1-2 hrs in the chicken.
Treatment of infection caused by mycoplasma and bacteria susceptible to lincomycin for example: Chicken: necrotic enteritis caused by Clostridium perfringens
Each one gram contains:………………216 mg Tylosin tartrate.
Eq. to Tylosin 200 mg.
• DOSAGE & ROUTE OF ADMINISTRATION
Route of administration: orally via drinking water.
For active ingredient:
Chickens: 50 mg Tylosin / kg body weight. For 3-5 days.
Pigs: 10-12 mg Tylosin / kg body weight. For 3-5 days.
For whole product :
Broiler chickens: 2.5 ml Tylosol for each 100 kg of body weight for 3-5 days.
Pigs: 5-6 ml Tylosol for each 100 kg of body weight for 3-5 days.
